Alfa Romeo by Ventura Italy

Our early 1950’s Alfa Romeo is likely the model 1900 Corto Gara Stradale by Carrozzeria Touring circa 1953.  The toy features realistic rubber tires, a tin upper body, plastic/celluloid windows, and metal brightwork.  For such an early car/toy the design is absolutely striking.

With a bit of bias, we will say that the front end chrome and metal work is one of the best we have seen for this scale of toy.  The overall toy is around 14″ in length.  Knock offs for the tires appear to be brass.
