Marx Ferdinand the Bull Windup, Vintage *SOLD*

Marx Ferdinand the Bull Windup for sale

Ferdinand is the pre-World War 2 peace loving, flower carrying, bull from Disney.  The story starts off with an allegory about the peace lovers and the the death surrounding the fighting (bull fighting in the cartoon versus the Spanish Civil War and pending WW2).  Ferdinand prefers to sniff flowers (shown on the toy) and live peacefully with the bees and birds and all around him.

Our toy gives us a touchstone to this 1938 world and makes toy lovers smile.  The bee almost appears to chase Ferdinand as the windup tail flips in circles.  The toy pivots in circles around a table top, rear first.  -Great Marx Toys action.

This toy is in very good used and original condition.  Even the delicate flower is original that is held in Ferdinand’s mouth.
