Nomura Tin windup Sparky Robot

What a classic windup tin toy!  This Nomura toy was made in Japan around the late 50s to 60’s and winds up and scoots across the floor.  At the same time, the red chest is transparent and shows sparks.  The toy operates perfectly.

The tin litho is in very good used condition.  There is minor scuffing on the top of the back, but front lithography is excellent.

Nomura was an early manufacturer in the tin toy world of Japan. They opened their doors in the late 1940s and quickly dominating the marketplace with colorful, original tin toy vehicles. Nomura is responsible for many Astro Boy and Tetsujin 28 toys. Nomura also created many Robby the robot toys along with this Sparky robot; all were classics.
