Shimer Cast Iron Elephant Head Nodder with Clown – Unusual!

Our elephant nodder is a great survivor.  The body appears to have had a silver paint with red carpet on its back.  Most all of this paint has worn down with play.

Then on top we have a recast circus clown riding the toy.  Any toy movement bobbles the

Wheels function as skids and there is a front hole for a string.

We have not seen another surviving example, so this is a rare treat.
