Tin Ship for sale- Large 16″+ Gebruder Bing

Our large 16″ Bing ship is from the third series from approximately 1915-1927.  It has numerous pierced railings as well as portholes that were expensive to make.  Four air vents are placed on the top as well as three smoke stacks.  Most toys that survive from this series are smaller, so it is a treat to offer this very large version.

Power comes from a windup clockwork motor that works and the rudder can be hand adjusted to make circles in a lake or pond.

Finish has overpainting on the red and enhancements on the white.  The black paint as well as gold portholes appear original.   Pictures are shown to help our collectors see the details.

A newer stand is included to show off this large vessel.  Rigging appears to be newer as well, but is done in the style of the original.
