Tinkertoys 1924 Pony Tinker Horse & Rider Pull Toy for sale

Our Evanston, IL made toy harkens from the roaring 1920's.  The used, but original Tinkertoys, or at this time Toy Tinkers Inc Pony is pure fun to pull along.  The Action has the rider going up and down as the Pony scoots across the floor.

Paintwork has dings and requisite wear for being close to 100 years old.  The metal has wear and some corrosion and oxidation.  The sticker is still there though on the top of the head.

Designer Charles Pajeau made the first Tinkertoy set in his garage after watching children play with pencils, empty spools of thread and sticks. The new toy design was introduced at the 1914 American Toy Fair, but fizzled at first. After adding great marketing, over a million sets were sold the next year.
