1960’s Bandai #742 Volkswagen Beetle Japan Tin Friction Toy Car for Sale

This is an awesome 1960’s Volkswagen Beetle 2-door sedan. The Big Book of Tin Toy Cars has this one on pg. 202 and describes it as a #742 friction car that was made in assorted colors by Bandai, Japan. Ours comes with the box and is quite possibly the one pictured in the book as it was purchased with many that were used in this catalog. The box is in excellent condition as is the car itself. The bottom is clean and the whole thing shows no sign of rust or wear. It really is a beautiful piece. This also comes with the original box insert showing other Bandai products.
