Antique American ca. 1930’s Buffalo Toys “Silver Dash” Pull Wind Up Tin Litho Race Car

We have for you a very unique antique American ca. 1930’s Buffalo Toy Company “Silver Dash” spring pull wind up tin lithographed race car. The car is wound by pulling on the loop in the back, and when set on the ground it takes off. When tested the spring pull mechanism worked well and the car operated as it should.  The decal on the hood is marked with a buffalo logo for Buffalo Toy Company and “Silver Dash Pat 1-20-25 Pat Pend Made in USA”. This piece is in great all original condition with no restorations, repairs, or touch ups. The race car includes the original tin litho driver and passenger, but is missing the ever elusive hood ornament. The lithos are very strong overall with the usual patina, scratches, scuffs and chips that are seen with age and play. The car is approximately 12 ½” in length, 14” including the pull mechanism. This is a pretty impressive piece that would be a great addition to any collection. We encourage you to examine the photographs to get a better idea of condition and quality.
