Bandai is one of those names that Japanese Tin collectors know and love.

This is one of their slightly off-center toys. The nicely detailed tin frame has a soft powder blue coloring, accented beautifully with the chromed trim. The tires sit on eye-catching lithographed Fiat tin rims.

The interior is detailed thoroughly with a full dashboard, green/white/yellow front bench seats, and a plastic steering wheel. Interestingly, the “convertible” aspect comes in with the thin piece of vinyl roofing, which is retractable on a spring.

The friction motor is very strong, and they car moves very well.

Overall, the car itself is in near mint condition. There are some very slight scratches across the frame. Tires are in excellent shape.

And to simply make this piece ever sweet, it’s original box is also present! With just some light edge wear and minor discoloration, the combo makes an excellent display.
