D.P. Clark & Co. Early 1900’s Pressed Steel Wood Hand-Painted Dayton Hillclimber White Flyer Vehicle *SOLD*

D.P. Clark & Co. Early 1900’s Pressed Steel Wood Hand-Painted Dayton Hillclimber White Flyer Vehicle

This piece is a rare ca. early 1900’s tin, pressed steel and wood, hand-painted Dayton Hillclimber or White Flyer vehicle that was manufactured by D.P. Clark & Company of Dayton, Ohio.

This is similar to the no. 96 White Flyer from 1905 and the no. 310 Automobile from 1907 in the Butler Brother’s Wholesale catalog for D.P. Clark and Company. We are not completely certain that the cast iron driver and passenger are original, but they are very old and look great paired with this item. They will be included. The body of the vehicle is made of pressed steel, while the front engine compartment and headlamps are made of wood.

This piece is in good all condition with no breaks or touch-ups. This piece shows the usual patina, fading, dust, chips, scuffs, surface rust, scratches, missing accessories, and wear that are to be expected from age and play. This is approximately 12 ½” L. We invite you to view the photos to further determine quality and condition.
