This tin penny toy is deluxe enough it almost deserves a different category– quarter toy.  It is a tin set likely made by Georg Fischer of Germany and it spins using a pull string that wraps around the shaft.  Airplanes fly in one direction, then itself wraps, allowing the cord to pull in the opposite direction.
