We have for you this ca. 1960 #5850 Amaze-A-Matics Chevrolet Astrovette programable car in box that was manufactured by Hasbro/Hasbro Industries, Inc. of Pawtucket, Rhode Island.   

This is untested and comes with the car, pylons, preprogrammed and blank program cards, and instructions. Everything appears to be there and hardly played with. The box is in very good to great condition.  

This piece is in great all original condition with no breaks, restorations, repairs, or touch-ups. This piece shows the usual patina, fading, dust, chips, scuffs, surface rust, scratches, missing accessories, and wear that are to be expected from age and play. 1923 to date

Founder: The Hassenfeld brothers

Specialty: Makers of plastic and wood toys, including Super Weeble, Amaze-A-Matics, Potato Head, and G.I. Joe series, which has gone through several transformations. The articulated plastic figures in cloth uniforms were originally 11 1/2 inches tall; the new G.I. Joe`s recalled to active duty in 1982, measured a mere 14 inches. In 1987, G.I. Joe was the number one selling toy in America.
