Hubley Crash Car #2049 Cast Iron Indian Motorcycle Cop 

We have for you this cast iron #2049 Crash Car Indian motorcycle cop that was manufactured by Hubley Manufacturing Company of Lancaster, Pennsylvania.    

Our orange motorcycle is a sleeper in size, actually quite large at over 6″ and then quite a heavy piece. Uniform folds and raised “Indian” lettering on the tank show the casting prowess of Hubley Toys. 

They do look real!  Of course, you will have to pardon the kid friendly orange paint.  This same orange color is a less dipped color so bit more desirable. 

Original rubber tires are there, but fragile and with some glue for holding.  The white rubber tires are still intact, but as per usual with toys of this age they may have petrified, warped and/or cracked. The hubs are in good condition and wheels roll as they should. We aren’t certain, but we believe the head to have been repaired. Although, we aren’t sure as it’s a pretty good repair if it is; we feel we should mention I t. 

Our example of this Hubley Crash Car is in good well loved, well cared for, all original condition with no restorations, repairs, or touch ups. This piece shows the usual patina, fading, dust, chips, scuffs, surface rust, scratches, and wear that are to be expected from age and play. This item is approximately 6“ L.
