Ichiko Tin Lithographed Windup Sparky Robot Japanese Space Toy in Box   

This piece is a vintage tin lithographed “Windup Sparky Robot” vehicle that was manufactured by Ichiko of Japan.  

When wound with its dedicated key Sparky shuffles forward and his chest shows sparks behind a red screen. While our Sparky’s windup mechanism is strong, the flint in his chest no longer sparks when he is wound. 

This Ichiko Sparky Robot is in excellent all original condition with no breaks, restorations, repairs, or touch ups. The box is in great condition. There is no rust and the bottom is very clean. This piece shows the usual patina, dust, chips, scuffs, surface rust, scratches, and wear that are to be expected from age and display.
