Kenner 1983 Star Wars: Return of the Jedi Pre-Movie Release Lando Calrissian Action Figure No.39800 Carded in Box 

We have a real treat for you today, you don’t normally see a lot of toys like this in our lineup, but we have an affinity for true vintage Star Wars. 

So, without further ado, we have for you a mint condition, pre-movie release, 1983 Star Wars: Return of the Jedi Lando Calrissian 3.75” action figure no. 39800 carded that was manufactured in Hong Kong for Kenner Products of Cincinatti, Ohio. 

This Star Wars: Return of the Jedi Lando Calrissian comes from a collection that was well loved and taken care of. It is all original, never recarded with the plastic bubble around Lando showing the usual yellowing that happens with time. This figure comes in a protective case to keep the dust off of this beloved character. The back shows almost all of the characters that you can buy at that time, with two that were blacked out from the factory. This is because the card back was printed prior to the  Return of the Jedi movie hitting the theaters on May 25, 1983. The look of new characters, especially the Ewoks and Jabba the Hutt, were a closely guarded secret by Lucasfilms. According to Kenner’s licensing agreement, they could not reveal any images of those characters or those characters prior to the movie release.

This piece shows the usual patina, dust, chips, scuffs, surface rust, scratches, and wear that are to be expected from age and display.
