Our 1984 deadstock toy is from the Japanese animation “Galactic Patrol Lensman.  It is a changing Tomy toy in the sci-fi late 70’s vein, only more updated and, from what we can tell, BB shooting.  It comes with sealed parts, instructions, rubber bad guy figures, and a toy still secured in the foam.

The cockpit has a man in motorcycle crouched position.  Then this entire unit can eject from the main ship, similar to later Star Wars ships designs from the 1990s.

Tech specs are shown on the bottom and box sides for all the action.  The toy is primarily plastic but well made and extremely detailed with all the molded in fine points.   An unused sticker sheet is present for adding in a bit of a model touch and even more anime realism.
