Lorenz Bolz Zirndorf LBZ Tin Lithographed Mechanical #307 Bird House German Coin Penny Bank with Box 

We have for you vintage, tin, lithographed, mechanical #307 bird house bank with box that was manufactured by Lorenz Bolz Zirndorf “LBZ” of Germany. 

This neat little, working, mechanical bank operates by placing a coin in the rubber band on the front and cranking the side handle which makes the bird come out of his hole. Once out, he grabs the coin pulling it back in to his nest for safe keeping. The coin then drops into the base where there is a key to open the hatch and retrieve the coins.  

Our example of this cast LBZ mechanical #307 bird house coin bank is in excellent near mint all original condition with no restorations, repairs, breaks or touch ups. This piece shows the usual patina, fading, dust, chips, scuffs, surface rust, scratches, and wear that are to be expected from age and play. It is approximately 5” L. x 4” W.
