We have for you a rare mint circa 1950’s diecast Ford garbage truck manufactured in France for Dinky Toys/Meccano Ltd. of Liverpool England. 

This diecast Ford garbage truck is a rare find indeed. The bed’s top doors slide to open, the bed tips back and the hatch open and closes. The black rubber tires are still intact, but as per usual with toys of this age they may have petrified and cracked. 

Our example of this Dinky Toys/Meccano Ltd. Ford garbage truck is in excellent near mint all original condition with no breaks, restorations, repairs, or touch ups. This piece shows the usual patina, dust, chips, scuffs, surface rust, scratches, and wear that are to be expected from age and display. It is approximately 4 ¼” L.
