This limited-edition tin, lithographed, windup #0367S “Robby the Robot” from Forbidden Planet was manufactured by the Osaka Tin Toy Institute of Osaka, Japan.  

When wound with its original key and switched on, this working example moves forward shuffling its feet while its antennas and dome display turn. This also has a sparking action that lights up behind a blue plastic, this is also in working order and bright. The box is in great to excellent condition. All inserts and paperwork are present and unopened. Also included, are 3 ray guns one in silver and two in red. The silver one came with this originally, and the two red ones are toy show promos. 

Our example of this piece is in excellent all original condition with no breaks, restorations, repairs, or touch ups. This piece shows the usual patina, fading, dust, chips, scuffs, surface rust, missing accessories, scratches, and wear that are to be expected from age and display. This is approximately 9 ¾” H.
