Uncle Sam Bank by Shepard Hardware *Antique Toys E-Museum*

Our Shepard Hardware bank harkens from an attic find in North Dakota.  The toy was found with dust about 110 years after being put away.  The family trances its roots to a Jaque Murphy , a New York emigrant and a Vogue design executive, and then a Anna and Maurice Murphy with extensive roots in the community of Jamestown North Dakota as well.

Condition is superb as shown.  We wonder if there was a child that passed early; time makes things difficult to unravel.
