Vintage Chinese Tin Lithographed ME 630 Battery Operated “Photoing on Car” with Box

This is a vintage Chinese battery operated tin lithographed “Photoing on Car” ME 630 in blue with original box.

We tested this battery operated car and ran it for only a very short time. It runs like a dream, it goes forward with mystery action and the horn honks and lights flash.  The car briefly stops and the girl takes a picture before resuming its mystery action. The battery housing is clean with no corrosion. The rubber wheels are in excellent condition and roll as they should. The box is in great condition with the usual signs of age. We believe someone translated the Chinese characters as they wrote “Auto Jackie” and “Photo Patsy” on the lid of the box.

Our example of this piece is in excellent all original condition with no restorations, repairs, breaks or touch ups. The lithography is in excellent overall condition with the usual patina, dust, scratches, surface rust, scuffs, and chips that are seen with age and display. The whole toy is approximately 12” L.
