Glossy black and barely used, Our One Ton Buddy L Flivver (inexpensive early auto/truck) is spectacular.  The paint has all the necessary traits of being completely original.  Delicate applied tags are all there and original- One on each door, then one on the bottom proclaiming Buddy L Toys.

Official cataloging notes this as the Number 212 Ford One-Ton Express Truck which was manufactured from 1927 to about 1930.  Historians will recognize that timing was terrible and within two years the Great Depression hit & ceased production.  14 1/4″ long, 7″ high and highlighted with aluminum solid “tires” with rims that are polished with red  painted hubs.

This Buddy L One Ton truck comes to us from its original owner via estate.  The children wished to have the truck curated properly, and it is our pleasure to offer it for sale.  The early Buddy L one ton aka Pickup Truck is one of the most sought after of this smaller scale lineup.   These toys are noticeably longer than all other Ford flivvers.

History seekers will note that early Pre-1960 Buddy “L” toys used the quotes.  After 1960 the company name was Buddy L and we use these terms interchangeably now.
