There is nothing like an animated semi real-to-life toy like an anxious bride.  This particular turn of the century bride is being taken by a rider and is animated.  Hands raise and lower, then the rider swerves.  As he swerves his head flops from side to side and she seems to get more animated (as the toy picks up speed).

This German windup is all original and even has the delicate fur around her neck.  We get sparkling blue tin lithography combined with hand painted driver and bride features.  The windup is very well executed and works nicely.  The toy exemplifies the best of tin windup toys with a touch of “character” mixed in.
