Walter Stock Pre-War Lithographed Windup Tin Penny Toy Woman in Car  

This is a pre-war tin, lithographed, windup penny toy woman in car that was manufactured by Walter Stock of Solingen, Germany.  

When wound by its dedicated key this unique woman in a car moves forward. We tested it and the key gets stuck on the wheel, but with a little encouragement it works; which is pretty impressive for a toy this delicate and small.  

Our example of this Stock windup tin penny toy is in great all original condition with no breaks, restorations, repairs, or touch ups. This piece shows the usual fading, patina, dust, chips, scuffs, surface rust, scratches, and wear that are to be expected from age and play. It is approximately 4 ¾” L x 2 ½” W.
