This is a lightly used reference guide. The Donald Kaufman Collection Volume IV is a first edition 253 pp book in great condition. This book is maroon faux-leather hardcover with gilt titles and inset color cover plate to upper board. Absentee bidding form for the sale loosely inserted. This is a lavishly produced auction catalogue of toys and model vehicles with photographic illustrations in color throughout. Lots 3717 to 4850 inclusive are described and illustrated together with estimates of value; this volume includes many early twentieth century toy vehicles and accessories, Disney toys, pedal cars, tin toys, and transport related games. Kaufman (1930-2009) amassed an estimated 7000 items which formed an important collection of antique toys, housed in a purpose-built annex at his Pittsburgh residence.
