Original Rare Smith-Miller, Inc. “Smitty Toys” Watson Bros. Transportation Mack Tractor Semi-Trailer

We have for you an all original die-cast aluminum and polished aluminum Smith-Miller “Smitty Toys” Watson Bros. Transportation Co. Inc. tractor semi-trailer. This is a tandem axle box trailer and Mack cab, both are in original condition with no broken parts, restorations, touch ups or repaints detected. The wheels roll easily and are original. The rear doors on the trailer open and close with ease. This item of course has paint wear, chips, and crackling that is to be expected with age and play. The decals are all present, but some have scratches, scuffs or missing parts. This item does have some dust and dirt and is in as is condition. The cab is approximately 17” x 5 ½” and the trailer is approximately 18 ¼” x 6”; when put together they are approximately 28” long. It is in overall great condition and anyone who collects these hard to find original Smith-Miller toys would be lucky to have this in their collection. Smith-Miller Toys “Smitty Toys” History:

Smith-Miller Toys was founded in 1945 in Santa Monica, California and stayed in business for about 10 years. Smith-Miller, Incorporated producer of arguably the finest toy trucks ever made in the United States, or anywhere else for that matter, has produced more than 75 different toy trucks. When the company ceased production in the mid-1950’s the defunct factory sat defunct a little over 23 years before being purchased by Fred Thompson in 1979.
