This well proportioned tin, windup, lithographed Fox Terrier toy named “Ori-O Tailspin Pup” is an attention grabber.  This Ori-O Tailspin Pup with Box was manufactured by the virtually forgotten Orianna Metal Products, Inc. of  Philidelphia, Pennysylvania.

When wound with its key this working pup’s weighted and springy tail spins the dog in circles.  Ori-O is lithographed on the dog, which is a white with brown and black spotted pup eager to play. It comes with box and original key. The box is in fair condition withoneflap missing on the end.

Our example of this Orianna “Ori-O” pup is in excelelnt near mint original condition with no breaks, restorations, repairs, or touch ups. This piece shows the usual patina, fading, dust, chips, scuffs, surface rust, scratches, and wear that are to be expected from age and play.
