Sankei ca. 1950s Tin Litho “The American Circus” Tiger & Elephant Circus Cages Japanese Toys

Offered here are two vintage Sankei Japan tin lithographed circus cage wagons from The American Circus series, featuring a tiger and elephant in enclosures. When rolled forward, the animals move within the cages. The wagons are designed to hitch together; however, the tractor/semi that pulls them is missing.

The tiger cage is missing a few bars, and the black rubber tires, while still intact, show age-related warping and wear, which is typical for toys of this era. Both wagons measure approximately 8½” L each. A colorful and nostalgic example of 1950s Japanese circus tin toys. Please review all photos for condition details.
