The Central Florida toy (and Advertising) show is now officially a success! At around 120 tables and at over 60 vendors, there were toys as far as the eye can see. Make it a point to visit next year (or see us again)!
The crack staff of toy dealers aka “non-union set up crew” began in earnest Thursday evening. It took a second order of chairs and tables to satisfy demand. A few setup photos are below that shows how much work there was and how large the hall is.
The following Friday was an early bird event that coincided with dealer set-up on Friday at 7-10AM. Early! Main admission was from 10AM to a full afternoon until 6 PM. That timeline will likely get dialed back next year.
Saturday was a full day lasting from 9AM to 4PM and absolutely packed with the public, friends, and collectors. Again, see the photos below.
Thank you to everyone that attended and we all appreciated the support!
For myself the show was about the friends and the wonderful gathering. The event filled the need of toy buying and swapping, but the biggest need was community. Everyone in the toy community was able to establish great contacts and future friends.
