Wood, Paper, Other
Often the earliest toys were made of simple materials like wood and paper. Early German, American, English, and world wide toys tended to start with wood and stone. Later, American toy companies like Bliss and Converse, for instance, combined colorful paper prints onto wood toy structures. The combination gave the wood toys quite a bit of pop and eye appear. Other toy materials are included here like fabric, composition, rubber toys, and resin toys.
