Paper and wood lithographs have never looked so good!  How do you like the lovely young lady in her proper dress and hat?  She is advertising an English (we believe) set of toy blocks with beautiful animals and letters on it.  Turn the blocks and you see a sampling of other comical people as well as fantastic creations.

This set is used, but comes with a highly desirable box and lid.  The art cover can possibly be framed on its own and blocks displayed next to the toys.

Block were considered very educational at the time, likely late 1800’s, and reinforced handwriting and knowledge of standard curricula.  A few of the more exotic animals look fantastic because few westerners had seen the real animal.
