Antique French/German Possibly Muller & Kededer M&K Tin Hand Painted Loop the Loop *SOLD*

Antique French/German Possibly Muller & Kededer M&K Tin Hand Painted Loop the Loop

This is a unique and rare tin hand-painted looping the loop with a lead clown car that we think may either be French or German. We say possibly German as seen a similar one in an old GAMA catalog. We also noted this is similar to the no. 650/1G or 650/1W ca. 1910 Muller & Kededer (M&K) of Nurnberg, Germany tin “Looping the Loop” that we have seen, but there are some slight differences. This could also possibly be an earlier version or possibly from an unknown French maker.

This piece is very delicate and as such, we did notice that the support for the legs missing, and of course it’s bent out of shape, but it displays well, can be carefully bent back into place, and stands up nicely. This comes with a small lead clown in a car that goes with this set.

For its age, this piece is in fair to good all original condition with no breaks, restorations, repairs, or touch-ups. This piece shows the usual patina, fading, dust, chips, scuffs, surface rust, scratches, missing accessories, and wear that is to be expected from age and play. This is approximately 13” L x 10” H and the clown car is 1 ¼” L. We invite you to view the photos to further determine quality and condition.
