Readers will see a theme of war time toys and identification models coming.  This wooden jeep and cannon set came from the same California estate and have been lovingly preserved.

These were likely identification models that fit with the identification aircraft (future products to come).  They were wood and hand painted to show soldiers and aviators differences in silhouettes as well as overall Army material looks.

The Willys Jeep has a worn set of stickers and then one wheel that was re-glued in place.  The metal “window” is simply sprung in place.  The cannons pivot and raise properly and are in very good to excellent condition.

The split scansion cannon reminds us of a Howitzer M1 155mm cannon.

The second cannon reminds us of an anti-aircraft 90mm M1 style gun.
