Of the picture & missile Boeing says, “The vertical launcher falls away from a Boeing IM-99 Bomarc as the new interceptor missile’s booster rockets sends it hurtling in the air on a test flight from the Air Force Missile Test Center at Patrick Air Force Base, Florida. After the boost rocket burns out the missile is propelled through the rest of its journey by the two Marquardt ramjet engines mounted under the body.” This is marked “Bomarc, IM-99, Boeing” on the base of the model.
