This poseable jointed wooden Popeye figure was manufactured for the National Rifle Association (N.R.A./NRA) by Chesebrough Mfg. Co. of New York (which is marked on the NRA label).

As you can imagine the elastics that have held this figure together for so long gave out and as such have been professionally restrung.  

This piece is in great all original condition with no breaks, restorations, repairs, or touch ups (other than the restringing). This piece shows the usual patina, fading, dust, chips, scuffs, surface rust, scratches, missing accessories and wear that are to be expected from age and display. This is approximately 5 ¼” H.
