Bandai Dynaman DX Godaikin Robot

We have a beautiful Godaikin Dynaman Robot to offer in the Deluxe rendition.  Dynaman is a great combination of a smaller space-age ship, a four-wheel buggy, and then transport.

Feet are die-cast metal as is part of Dynaman’s chest.

Our toy is used in good condition with replacement fists and original shield.  The sword is missing the hilt.  Missiles are replacements.  The one-head antenna is replaced.

Overall this is a superb toy priced for fun.  The transformation uses yellow release latches and catches.  The legs hinge open and hold transport wheels.  The design is a denzi-gattai or perfect transformation where fists, heads, arms, and most parts are perfectly enclosed within the deluxe robot.

We would argue that these transforming robots are near the pinnacle of industrial toy design.

Godaikin Toy History

Godaikin toys were branded by Bandai America, Bandai Japan, and Mike L of Forbidden Planet.  The toys were actually Japanese robots from earlier years, brought into a “Kin of Gods” U.S. Brand.  Most of the branding and sales began in 1982 and 1983, continuing to about 1987.
