Schöenner of Germany ca. 1895 Brass and Tin Fire Pumper Steam Toy for Sale *SOLD*

Schöenner of Germany ca. 1895 Brass and Tin Fire Pumper Steam Toy

This particular fire toy is made by the sought-after Schoenner company of Germany.  It is a humble brass and tin engine, but a well thought out toy.

The engine burner gets spirits and boils water to produce steam.  Pressure then pushes steam into the piston to drive the machine forward. Water from the engine can also pressurize the tubing to shoot water.

This said, at 125 years of age we do not recommend using the boiler without recertification.  The parts are all there though including a nozzle and fill cap.
