Beautiful Karl Bub Limousine at 14″ inches long.  This impressive toy comes from the Golden age of German tin making and would be a welcome addition to a car collection.  It is in working condition and has its own dedicated key. The size is quite long and paint details are impressive.

A brief history of Karl Bub of Nuremberg, Germany:

Karl Bub founded this company in 1851 in Nüremberg, Germany. As all the other toy manufacturers in Nüremberg, Karl Bub intended his company to produce merry go-rounds, fountains, carts, horse-drawn street cars, fire engines, and other tin toys both with, and without mechanical (clockwork) drive units. American toy train collectors are familiar with the ‘KBN’ trademark, which stands for ‘Karl Bub Nüremberg’. Bub made a superbly enameled and later lithographed line of clockwork tin transportation toys including trains.
