Lineol Model Toys 5/530 Armored Bunker Tower Set *SOLD*
Lineol Model Toys 5/530 Armored Bunker Tower Set
“The Armored tower rotates and has a very long barrel which is mounted vertically and installed on the top of a pedestal. It can be shot directly or through a remote ignition [if you have a cable]”
Our set is in original condition with three added figures to build up the scene. One solder adds in shells, and the other two provide tower protection.
The turret manually rotates and then with a hand crank, the barrel can be raised or lowered. The breach opens and then a lever can fire the spring-loaded mechanism closed. -Back in the day, kids would have powder and rubber rounds to fire; these are not included with our set for obvious safety reasons.
Composition shells are included in the ammo bunker.
The condition is very good with some light chipping and dust. The markings are still present on the base bottom. The storage room for shells is properly marked “do not smoke”, as a reminder for soldiers of the time.
We see this bunker in the 1938/39 catalog.
This piece is in very good all original condition with no breaks, restorations, repairs, or touch-ups. This piece shows the usual patina, fading, dust, chips, scuffs, surface rust, scratches, missing accessories, and wear that are to be expected from age and display. This is approximately 12” L x 12″ W x 8″ H. We invite you to view the photos to further determine quality and condition.
