Longwood Machine Co. Tin Lithographed Fish Motif Manual Toy Washing Machine 

We have for you tin, lithographed, manual toy washing machine with a fish motif that was manufactured by the Longwood Machine Co. of Sommerville, Massachusetts. 

This toy washer was made from the 1930s until the 1960s, and later models were electric with small motors attached to them. When the crank is turned the agitator moves up and down and side to side. It’s in a bit of rough shape, but the classic fish animation on the front is just spectacular. 

This piece is in fair all original condition with no breaks, restorations, repairs, or touch-ups. This piece shows the usual patina, fading, dust, chips, scuffs, surface rust, scratches, missing accessories, and wear that are to be expected from age and play. This is approximately 8″ D x 9” H.
