Our soldiers are definitely German in style and execution.  The challenge is when to date them.  Collectors have said that this form was both produced commercially and potentially even home-kits.

Hats look similar to French soldiers, but we need an expert ruling on this.  Others have noted that they look like imperial Japanese soldiers.  They are an early late 1800’s form.

Our toy looks to be mid 20’th century, but doesn’t have condition issues other than some chips.  No deep corrosion-.  So as a result we believe they were made around 1950 or so rather than earlier.  This said, if you are a military flats collector, we would love to hear back on your opinion.  They could be much older, just in great condition.

Material on these is likely lead, so they are for adult collectors only.

Regardless, we are asking a fair price based on the wonderful paint execution and mold details.
