This well-proportioned, tin, windup, lithographed Fox Terrier toy named “Ori-O Tailspin Pup” is an attention grabber.  This Ori-O Tailspin Pup with Box was manufactured by the virtually forgotten Orianna Metal Products, Inc. of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

When wound with its original key, the pup spins energetically in circles thanks to its weighted, spring-loaded tail. The white dog with brown and black spots is lithographed “Ori-O” and full of playful character. Comes complete with the original box (in excellent condition) and key.

Our example of this Orianna “Ori-O” pup is in excellent, near mint original condition with no breaks, restorations, repairs, or touch-ups. This piece shows the usual patina, fading, dust, chips, scuffs, surface rust, scratches, and wear that are to be expected from age and play.
