Orkin Craft Outboard Motor Toy

We have an item, a toy, that may is as much sculptural as it is (formerly) functional.  Our oddity as quite a massive toy accessory, a motor, but does not appear to run but towers over other nautical toys.

Orkin Craft apparently made a wood and also a metal john boat (small toy boat) and this was the power.  From what we see, it appears it may have been crank wound (none present) and then likely had a spring internally.  The internal spring must be broken.   In any event, the top turns and the prop turns in unison.  The original sticker is still present and the paintwork is good.  Yet there is still some chipping throughout as shown.  Condition on the paint is still bright.

Our first inclination is that this will need its own acrylic stand and be set up as modern art with a pre-war origin.
