We have for you a rare ca. 1900 cast iron McKinley & Teddy “Prosperity” still penny bank that was manufactured by an unknown maker.

These banks were manufactured for the 1900 presidential election when William McKinley and Theodore Roosevelt would be running mates and go on to eventually win the election as president and vice president respectively. This would be short lived due to McKinley being assassinated on 1901 and Roosevelt being sworn in to office as the 26^th President of the United States (1901-1909).

This piece is in very good all original condition with no breaks, restorations, repairs, or touch-ups. This piece shows the usual patina, fading, dust, chips, scuffs, surface rust, scratches, missing accessories, and wear that are to be expected from age and play.
