Schuco Combinato 4003 Early Original Owner Toy

We have a working horn buzzing, gear shifting, steering Schuco Combinato for sale & it comes from the original owner.  His father imported it from Europe while he was on business to the U.S.

This appears to be an earlier version base plate and comes with play wear, but original tires, paint, and trim.  Only the broken windshield was replaced on the toy.

These cars are one of the best Schuco ever made.  The windup powers the spring, but you put on the brake until ready.  Set the toy down and then pick a steering column gear.  The speedometer will move accordingly to the fast or slow selection.  Release the brake, and the toy speeds off.  The second windup simply powers a buzzer/horn.  When you press the steering wheel horn, the buzzer goes off.
