Tank Bank- Ferrosteel Cast Iron Toy

The Tank Bank has been placed in a Florida bank collection. Ca 1918.

“‘Fill up the Tank’ Save for the next Gov’t [Government] loan.   This is a model of the war tank which has done such wonderful work in Belgium and France.  It climbs through barbed wire entanglements, over trenches, shell holes, etc.   It knocks over trees with ease and is capable of making eighteen miles an hour.  Equipped as it is with machine guns it makes terrible havoc on the enemy’s trenches and its invention was the most striking engineering accomplishment of the war.”

Our toy tank is in used original condition.  Box not included but for reference.
