TippCo Mercedes-Benz 220S cabriolet. TCO-112 Convertible *SOLD*

Made in the 1950’s, and often attributed to 1957, this TippCo or Tipp and Company Mercedes is a stunner.  It comes with a case and is in very average condition, but a beauty none-the-less.  The toy has scuffs and wear as expected from an older tin car.

On the positive side, the previous estate owner did a wonderful job preserving what he purchased and waxed the car to keep the paint and brightwork shining.  On the negative, the electric mechanism was removed as it was reportedly corroded away due to old batteries.

Our scale driver is still intact and his smart looks complement the toy with all of its scale detail and excellent level of attention.  Our toy is one of the most highly sought after Tipp and Company toys and a treasure to enjoy.
