Vintage Aluminum Industries Inc. Toy Indy Race Car  Cincinnati, Ohio for Sale

This is a vintage (possibly from the 1920’s) Aluminum Industries Inc. toy Indy Race Car, manufactured in Cincinnati, Ohio. We don’t know a lot about this neat looking car or Aluminum Industries Inc., but do know it is made of aluminum. We do believe that the axels appear to possibly be made of steel. There is corrosion, pitting and missing paint that comes with age and play. The wheels roll straight and smoothly. In the cockpit, it looks like maybe there was a driver or some other accessory. There is also a place on the back where there is a hole; we believe maybe it also had some sort of license plate or additional accessory.  On the underside there are letters towards the back, we were unable to make those out. The underside front end has lettering on it as well, that says, “Aluminum Industries, Inc. Cin Ohio.” Next to this is what we think is the company logo, it is an arrow of some sort. This piece is approximately 7-3/8 inches long by 3 inches tall. This is really a well-made car, with a super cool look. It would look great in any collection.
