We are picking this as a very cool future “period toy” that will be valuable.  Today it is reasonably priced, but this Ertl was very well made and should appreciate.  Recall the 1980s and when Bell was government owned?  Recall the entity being split up into Ma and Pa Bell, later to be morphed into ATT, Verizon, T-Mobile etc?  If not, no sweat, just think of this company as a monopoly.  It was broken up in the 1980s to save customers money and increase phone service and options.

Back to the toy, our Bel van has a dreamy sticker application and company logo.  It is made of steel with a plastic interior and smaller parts.  It is still good sized, around 10″ and hefty.

The rear doors open and it rolls smoothly.  Enjoy!
