Whimshurst “Electric Machine” Influence Machine Electrostatic Generator Toy Kit in Box 

We have for you this Whimshurst “Electric Machine” influence machine/electrostatic generator toy experiment kit in box that was manufactured by the James Whimshurst of Barrington, New Jersey.   

The box is in very good condition. We did not get to test this, but we did turn the handle and the gears all spin smoothly. We are unsure if all of the accessories are there, but there are carded accessories and loose accessories. Included, are the instructions for this kit and instructions for another similar set (Voltana.)  

This piece is in great all original condition with no breaks, restorations, repairs, or touch ups. This piece shows the usual patina, fading, dust, chips, scuffs, surface rust, scratches, missing accessories and wear that are to be expected from age and play.
